Eradication Treatment

Two participants stopped eradication therapy early because of adverse effects. Complexity, adverse effects, and inadequate pre-treatment counselling undermined persistence with treatment. Treatment burden and side effects discouraged some participants from starting eradication therapy. Physician recommendation was one of the strongest prompts for treatment initiation. Some participants began eradication even without symptoms because a physician recommended it.
