Erythritol is typically manufactured through yeast fermentation of glucose. The source of glucose used in fermentation is the critical factor determining whether the final product carries GMO and glyphosate concerns. Non-GMO erythritol can be produced from non-GMO corn or other alternative substrates with minimal glyphosate exposure.
