Anonymised data will be retained for 10 years in accordance with Maynooth University data protection protocols before permanent deletion. The study received ethics approval from Istanbul Medipol University's Non-Interventional Clinical Research Ethics Committee on 17 September 2025. Participants are assigned pseudonyms rather than numbers to maintain the human-centred nature of the research throughout analysis and dissemination. Raw identifiable audio recordings will be deleted immediately after transcription, with identifiers removed during the transcription process. Ethics approval was obtained from both the HSE Regional Ethics Committee and the Maynooth University Social Sciences Research Committee. Study data are captured in REDCap and stored centrally at the Luxembourg Institute of Health. Participant data are pseudonymised using identification numbers, with identity-linking tables physically separated from REDCap clinical data. Participants will receive verbal and written study information and provide written informed consent under the Declaration of Helsinki 2013.
