Surveys dominated evaluation practice in the reviewed studies. Validated tools were uncommon, with only 14 studies using them. Most survey studies collected pre-initiative and post-initiative data. Interviews and focus groups were usually conducted only after the initiative. Qualitative analysis will use directed content analysis informed by CFIR and implementation science frameworks. Annual or long-interval measures may miss short-term changes, while short follow-up may miss sustained effects. The qualitative component assesses acceptability, appropriateness, and scalability.
