In the primary implementation analysis, no significant preference was found between Evalyn and either FLOQSwab or SensiGrip, indicating Evalyn could be replaced without reducing participation. When neutral responses were excluded, Evalyn was significantly preferred over both FLOQSwab and SensiGrip on absolute personal preference. Evalyn has been reported to cost 3–5 times more than other self-collection devices. The ROVERS Evalyn brush is the current standard device in the Danish HPV self-sampling programme.
