Single-site case reports or small pilots will be presented as emerging patterns or promising practices rather than generalisable causal effects. Conference papers and case reports are included in the review because they may reveal early implementations and innovative methods in operational settings where formal research is still limited. If eligible literature is sparse, that scarcity will itself be treated as an important finding about fragmentation, concentration, or underdevelopment in the field. The extraction process will explicitly record both intended process-mining objectives and actual reported outcomes, classifying their alignment as full, partial, or absent. The synthesis will combine qualitative and quantitative findings through a narrative synthesis identifying recurring themes, benefits, limitations, and contextual factors. The review is intentionally framed as a systematic mapping and configurative synthesis rather than only a conventional effectiveness review, due to the emerging nature of the field.
