Patients and caregivers reported high satisfaction with the intervention. Retention exceeded the prespecified target, with 30 of 33 participants providing full 3-month outcome data. The study met all three primary feasibility benchmarks for recruitment, retention, and intervention adherence. Intervention adherence met the prespecified feasibility criterion of at least 75%. The trial was not powered to establish definitive clinical effectiveness. The study concluded that the Bangla Heart Manual was feasible and acceptable for patients and healthcare professionals in Bangladesh. Recruitment, eligibility identification, and questionnaire retention were strong enough to support further evaluation. Acceptability and fidelity were only partially met and require refinement before a full-scale trial. The trial used a two-arm parallel-group feasibility randomised controlled design with equal allocation. The study assessed whether a full-scale effectiveness trial would be practical, acceptable, and methodologically sound.
