Prior epidural analgesia experience was positively associated with fertility intention in the full sample. The log-link model estimated a 6.7% relative increase in expected fertility intention score among respondents with epidural analgesia experience. Female respondents had lower fertility intention than male respondents. The primary outcome was fertility intention measured on a 0 to 100 scale. For people with one child, fertility intention referred to having a second child; for people with two children, it referred to having a third child.
