Fijians had the highest deployment rate among the groups. Fijian participants had a mixed symptom profile rather than simply matching the broader ethnic minority pattern. Fijian participants were less likely to report nausea or gas or indigestion, bowel changes, trouble sleeping, and forgetfulness. Fijian participants were more likely to report dizziness, double or blurred vision, and three specific PCL-C items. Physical workload may contribute to elevated back pain and joint symptom rates in Fijian participants.
