Patients with residual pulmonary stenosis, pulmonary regurgitation, or other haemodynamic abnormalities warrant ongoing follow-up. Patients with arrhythmias or impaired ventricular function warrant ongoing follow-up. Patients who underwent infundibulectomy warrant ongoing follow-up. Routine lifelong cardiology surveillance is not necessary for all surgically repaired pulmonary stenosis patients. Patients without residual abnormalities and without infundibulectomy history can be discharged from regular follow-up with symptom-triggered medical attention.
