Gallstones

Gallstones are small stones that accumulate in the gallbladder and cause severe pain when passing through the bile ducts. The widespread belief that high-fat diets cause gallstone formation is incorrect. Bile stagnation in the gallbladder — caused by fat restriction — is a more significant risk factor than high fat intake.
