Gendered Calling Patterns

The study analyzed four caller-callee gender combinations as the basic categories of social interaction. Relative probabilities depended strongly on the minimum call-duration threshold used in the analysis. Caller gender, callee gender, caller age, callee age, and call duration jointly structured communication across the lifespan.
