Genetic Data

Estonia is presented as a voluntary, education-based model for national genetic data infrastructure. Genetic anonymization is not treated as sufficient because genetic data can reveal relatives and populations. Consumer genetic testing can involve terms that allow anonymized data to be sold or shared. The article says people often do not understand downstream consequences of genetic testing terms.
