Genetic Luck

A cited study near Barcelona estimated that about 70% of centenarians' longevity secret is genetic luck. The article says centenarian longevity is shaped partly by environment and behavior, but may depend substantially on genetic luck. Genetic luck limits how well centenarian lives can serve as a general model for modifying aging.
