GP Confidence

GP confidence increased with years of practice. Rural and remote GPs reported higher OAC-initiation confidence than regional and metropolitan GPs. Only about half of surveyed GPs reported high confidence initiating OACs for newly diagnosed AF. In the survey, 17.5% of GPs reported low or very low confidence initiating OACs.
