Edge matching was strict about reactant, product, and modifier edge roles. The study quantified overlap by translating NLP event representations into SBML models, annotating automated and human pathway representations, and applying graph matching. Subgraph isomorphism compared disconnected automated subgraphs against the MTOR-HMN graph after isolated species were removed.
