Contemporary healthcare data analysis tends to centre on clinical and patient-related data supported by electronic health records, predictive analytics, and personalised medicine. NHSBSA dispensing data is a better proxy for medication adherence than primary care prescribing records because it confirms the prescription was actually collected by the patient.
