Healthcare Utilisation Outcomes

Subgroup analyses will examine differences in effectiveness by low-income status, minority racial/ethnic background, and age group. Secondary outcomes include medication adherence, school and caregiver work absenteeism, quality of life, self-esteem, mental health outcomes, and academic performance. Primary outcomes include asthma-related unplanned healthcare utilisation such as emergency department visits, urgent care visits, and inpatient hospitalisation due to asthma exacerbations.
