The study addresses a gap between known xanthone bioactivity and mechanistic target-level understanding of HeLa cytotoxicity. The central hypothesis is that Garcinia cowa xanthones exert HeLa cytotoxicity through specific cancer-related targets and pathways. The most plausible anti-HeLa activity is proposed for compounds combining cytotoxicity data, target connectivity, QSAR agreement, and docking strength. The HeLa cell line is used as a model for studying cancer survival and proliferation pathways.
