High-Fidelity Simulation

High-fidelity simulation supports realistic clinical scenarios for developing non-technical skills. High-fidelity simulation is the control comparator in the planned review. Prior reviews suggested high-fidelity simulation can improve non-technical skills compared with alternative teaching methods, but the evidence was limited and heterogeneous. High-fidelity simulation uses advanced technology such as interactive patient simulators that respond physiologically to learner actions.
