Families are assigned to one of four coaching strands based on the child's BMI percentile, BABELUGA result, and whether rehabilitation is recommended. During a clearing phase of two to four home visits, the coach uses the BABELUGA risk assessment tool to categorise family support needs as moderate or increased. Coaches complete an approximately 100-hour training curriculum covering physical activity promotion, healthy eating, healthy sleeping, and reduction of media consumption. During home visits, coaches help families identify locally available activities and collaboratively set and document individual behavioural goals in the web application.
