Men experienced significant increases in free and total testosterone after daily full-body exposure. All steroid hormones, including estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and cortisol, are synthesized from cholesterol and fat. Both emotional states (laughter, worry) and environmental light signals directly modulate hormone output.
