Hungarian Adaptation Protocol

The six-phase framework is intended to be generalisable to other speech audiometry adaptations. The item-recognition survey targets 236 children after inflating the minimum sample size for dropouts. The adaptation framework is built around six methodological cornerstones. The protocol adapts the German MATCH test into Hungarian through translation, cultural adaptation, and validation. Phase I verifies that German MATCH items can be translated into Hungarian equivalents and that images are recognisable to Hungarian children.
