Improvised Coffee Brewing

Improvised coffee can reach roughly 80% of the quality of coffee made with high-end equipment. The quality gap in improvised coffee comes mostly from imperfect grinding and improvised separation of grounds. Coffee can be brewed without a coffee maker, French press, grinder, or paper filter. Keurig pods can be opened to extract ground coffee when no loose coffee is available. The method is particularly useful during quarantine, emergencies, or supply delays when coffee equipment is inaccessible. The improvised method is intended for emergencies or situations where equipment is unavailable, not as a replacement for proper brewing.
