Indigenous Involvement

Indigenous guidance has shaped or will shape the research question, inclusion criteria, screening guides, extraction elements, and interpretation frameworks. The team plans periodic meetings with the Indigenous team member to validate emerging themes and guide stakeholder recommendations. The protocol intends to seek consultation from Indigenous communities, organisations, or experts to ensure appropriateness and relevance. The review includes lived experience guidance from Tyra Yarran, an Aboriginal woman and health manager with extensive experience. Her expertise will guide all stages of the review project.
