Integrated Policy Governance

Integrated policy approaches are needed because multiple environmental and public health problems interact within planetary health systems. European policies show progress in integrating environmental and health objectives, but member-state alignment remains challenging. The protocol identifies a gap in analysis at the nexus of AMR, plastic pollution, and climate change. The protocol treats epistemic injustice as unequal flow and application of knowledge across governance levels. The review will evaluate alignment between AMR and plastic pollution initiatives and identify opportunities for integrated approaches.
