International Students

International students face heightened alienation, discrimination, cultural stigma, and lower mental health literacy, leading to reduced likelihood of accessing appropriate care despite similar rates of acute mental health concerns. Nearly one-third of UofT's approximately 100,000 students are international, coming from 178 countries and territories. The UTN service is available to both domestic and international students, addressing a population with disproportionate access barriers.
