The trial product is single-origin, certified organic, virgin coconut oil. The oil is centrally sourced, packaged into individual vacuum-sealed 4 mL sachets, and shipped to intervention-site pharmacies. Application is performed during routine care to reduce extra handling. Oil is not applied to the face, scalp, vascular access sites, or other device sites. Topical coconut oil may be applied by a nurse or by a parent under nurse supervision.
