Intervention Design

Education alone is unlikely to be sufficient for young adult HPV vaccination interventions. Interventions for unvaccinated college students should be multi-component rather than education-only. Vaccination programs should combine knowledge-building with practical navigation. A potential intervention could combine education with scheduling help, location identification, cost reduction, clinical delivery, and series completion support. Interventions may need demographic tailoring to improve effectiveness and reduce vaccine-related inequities.
