Iranian Ethnic Groups

After adjustment, Azeri, Kurdish, and Fars women scored significantly higher than Arab women, while Mazani women scored significantly lower. Azeri and Fars women had the highest mean childbirth experience scores in the sample. Mazani women had the lowest childbirth experience score among the studied ethnic groups. Lur women did not significantly differ from Arab women after adjustment. One-way ANOVA found statistically significant differences in childbirth experience scores among ethnic groups. Ethnicity was treated as a key variable because culture shapes childbirth beliefs, expectations, support, autonomy, language, and healthcare interactions.
