Jim Kwik

Jim Kwik was labeled as having a broken brain by a teacher when he was nine years old. Jim Kwik taught himself to read by reading comic books at night. Quick's learning mission grew out of a childhood traumatic brain injury that impaired his focus and memory. Quick reframed his college crisis by asking how to learn rather than how to study harder. Jim Kwik internalized the broken-brain label as an explanation for academic and social struggles. A teacher's “broken brain” label became an internalized limit for Quick. Jim Quick presents memory demonstrations as examples of what ordinary people can learn to do. Jim Kwik has spent nearly three decades pursuing a mission to help people unlimit themselves.
