Of 2,020 enrolled patients, 117 (5.8%) were lost to follow-up, leaving 1,903 patients with complete one-year data. Patients were prospectively followed at 1, 6, and 12 months through hospital admissions, outpatient records, and phone calls. The JoFIB Study is a nationwide, multicentre, prospective observational cohort study enrolling consecutive adult AF patients from 20 hospitals and 30 outpatient cardiology clinics across Jordan. The JoFIB cohort was 54.3% female and 45.7% male. Middle Eastern patients with AF carry a high comorbidity burden, with hypertension, CVD, type II DM, CKD, dyslipidaemia, and chronic lung disease as the predominant comorbid conditions. The threshold separating oligomorbidity from multimorbidity groups was anchored to the modal number of comorbidities in the Jordanian population.
