Higher exposure levels generally tended to correspond with higher knee arthroplasty risk, except for heavy back loading and whole-body vibration. In Sweden, approximately 19,000 TKR procedures are performed annually. During follow-up, participants are asked whether they have had knee replacement or are on a waiting list for knee replacement.
