The knowledge domain showed a contradiction between participants' reported knowledge and observed knowledge gaps. Participants reported sufficient knowledge to use SPARK, but observations showed gaps in understanding guidelines and the Informal Care guideline. The self-assessment tool aims to help participants recognise knowledge gaps during the precontemplation stage of behavioural change. The discrepancy in perceived versus observed knowledge is attributed to overestimation bias. The guideline self-assessment tool was designed to stimulate curiosity about guidelines before participants attend their first reflection meeting.
