The affective-domain levels used in the review are receiving, responding, valuing, organising and characterising. Krathwohl’s framework was chosen because it is established, influential, widely used, operationalisable and focused on learner outcomes. The review will use Krathwohl’s taxonomy to interpret findings about attitude development. Educational interventions in general practice will be mapped to outcomes across the five affective-domain levels.
