Scarce published literature on NITAG–academic institution linkages helped justify using a landscape analysis instead of a conventional systematic review. Findings from the literature review and key informant interviews will be triangulated into a final landscape analysis report. The methodology adapts a WHO landscape analysis guide and will be reported according to the SRQR checklist. The landscape analysis aims to document lessons and benefits from leveraging local academia to support evidence compilation for NITAGs. The protocol is part of the MSIC study, which assesses the switch from 10-dose to 5-dose measles-containing vaccine vials in Ethiopia and Zambia.
