Latent Profile Analysis

The analysis identified passive, moderate, and active medication-safety engagement profiles. The three-profile solution was selected because it had the highest entropy and significant likelihood ratio tests. The profile results showed substantial heterogeneity in medication-safety engagement among older adults with cardiometabolic multimorbidity. Latent profile analysis classifies heterogeneous populations into more homogeneous groups according to response patterns. The study used latent profile analysis to find subgroups with similar medication-safety engagement patterns across domains.
