LMIC Evidence Base

Fourteen studies met the review inclusion criteria after full-text assessment. The review used narrative synthesis rather than meta-analysis because study definitions, outcomes and effect estimates varied substantially. The included studies generally had moderate to good methodological quality. Most included studies were from upper-middle-income countries, with China heavily represented.
