Lymphadenopathy

Persistent lymphadenopathy without a resolving infection warrants investigation rather than reassurance. Lymph node swelling is a normal immune response to infection, with nodes typically returning to normal within 10 to 14 days. If lymph node swelling persists beyond two weeks, medical evaluation is warranted.
