Lymphoma

Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphatic system. EQ-5D had poor criterion validity in lymphoma. Anxiety/depression did not significantly load onto either structural factor in lymphoma. A British Medical Journal paper documented effective lymphoma treatment using fasting and dietary intervention. The current lymphoma research goal is to gather enough case reports to justify a clinical trial. The lymphoma case received significant attention after publication. No examined patient characteristics were significantly associated with utility discrepancy in lymphoma. The weak, non-significant correlation with time trade-off raises concerns about using EQ-5D alone for lymphoma utility estimates. EQ-5D should not be relied on as a standalone quality-of-life or utility instrument for lymphoma without caution.
