The intervention materials were developed in line with scientific evidence and the German obstetric guideline “Vaginal Birth at Term.” The materials include brochures, picture cards, a companion flyer, a poster, staff badges, drinking cups, and an equipment list. The intervention is intended to be low-threshold, visually accessible, and minimally disruptive to clinic workflows. Departments may choose and locally tailor the materials they use. No discontinuation or modification criteria are anticipated because the intervention does not include clinical or pharmacological procedures. The intervention uses activating information materials and psychological nudges to encourage movement, exploration of positions, and autonomous choice during childbirth.
