Immunosuppressant and immune modulator use were associated with reduced hazard. Medication associations have limited causal interpretability because duration, timing, dose, changes over follow-up, indication, and renal condition were not incorporated. Medication exposure was represented as binary variables for six medication subgroups. Calcium channel blocker use had the largest positive medication-associated coefficient. Corticosteroid use was associated with increased hazard of the composite event.
