Medication Interactions with CGM

Ascorbic acid at doses greater than 500 mg/day causes falsely elevated glucose readings on Freestyle Libre devices. Acetaminophen at high doses causes falsely elevated glucose readings on Dexcom devices. Certain antibiotics may also affect CGM accuracy and should be verified on a per-drug basis.
