Microalbuminuria was not significantly associated with stroke in the fully adjusted model. Microalbuminuria was significantly associated with MACE, cardiovascular death, and all-cause mortality in the fully adjusted Cox model. Compared with normal UACR, microalbuminuria corresponded to 0.47-fold higher MACE risk, 2.03-fold higher cardiovascular death risk, and 0.91-fold higher all-cause death risk.
