Microbial Risk Markers

The estrobolome consists of gut microbes capable of producing beta-glucuronidase. Fusobacterium nucleatum in the gut is presented as a major microbial risk factor for colorectal cancer. Salmonella and Campylobacter findings indicate external contamination rather than normal gut microbiome membership.
