Mobile Genetic Elements

Reducing transposition or recombination is predicted to increase lifespan in some contexts. Mobile genetic elements are treated as transcriptome-genome defects within the model. Mobile elements are described as occupying a large fraction of the human genome and being implicated in many human genetic disorders.
