Fixing both the critical radius and initial distribution across cancer types slightly improved BIC relative to cancer-specific optimization. The findings support broad universality of genomic diffusion, error correction, initial error distribution, and critical error radius in somatic-stem-cell cancer incidence. A universal initial distribution fit the data better than cancer-specific initial distributions by BIC. If replication-fidelity physics is shared across tissues, cancer incidence curves may share universal parameters in cell-cycle time. Because the fitted process appears universal, cancer prevention may not need to be entirely tissue-specific.
