Monkhood Decision

At age 22, after graduating, the narrator decided that he preferred the monastic path. For three years, the narrator's belongings fit inside a gym locker. After becoming a monk, the narrator gave up his possessions entirely. The narrator became a monk after concluding that the monastic path was preferable.
