Mpox Outbreak

Mpox infections have increased by 160%, with approximately 177,000 confirmed cases reported in the current year. The current mpox outbreak has caused over 500 deaths, with more than 70% of fatalities occurring in children. An emergency declaration has been issued to secure additional funding for mpox containment efforts.
