Higher-tier hospitals had significantly greater multidisciplinary capacity. Generalist support was more common than specialised services in surveyed hospitals. Internal medicine physicians were available in most surveyed hospitals. Vascular trauma and plastic reconstructive surgeons were available in very few hospitals. Critical care support was constrained in the hospital sample.
